How to Use
Set the music start
Enter the timecode where the music should start. When the exact music start point is flexible,
setting Music starts at to the first important cue point can help find more meaningful
BPMs and improve how well the remaining cue points align.
Enter cue points (A–H)
Enter up to 8 timecodes of the most important events in the scene that you want to synchronize
with music.
FPS
Select the video frame rate of your project.
Show Best BPM or Custom BPM
When Best BPM is selected, the app searches for the tempos that best match
your cue points. Use Custom BPM to manually check how a specific BPM works with
your cue points.
BPM Range
Select the lower and upper tempo limits for the search (minimum 30 BPM, maximum 280 BPM).
Available if Show: Best BPM is selected.
Step
Choose whether tempos are evaluated in integer BPM values or smaller fractions for higher
precision. Available if Show: Best BPM is selected.
Beats Per Measure
Defines how many beats are in each measure (bar). This setting does not affect the BPM
results. It only changes how the information is displayed in the chart.
Beat 1 Only
This option is not recommended, as the music will fit the scene well enough when all beats are
considered (not just beat 1). Use it only if you have at most one or two cue points that must
hit the strongest musical accents, and want to use pre-made music. If you are composing
yourself, it’s usually better to adjust a previous bar changing the time signature so the
important cue point falls on beat 1.
Analysis
If you are in Best BPM mode, click on each BPM to see how each cue point aligns at that
tempo.
Timing Data
Shows the beat position and its timing offset relative to each cue point (in milliseconds and
frames).
- Green: almost negligible offset
- Orange: moderate offset
- Red: large desynchronization
Result order and offset colors reflect perceived sync, not exact numbers. Music one frame after a
key moment often feels more in sync than one frame before, even if the actual time difference is
smaller.
Chart
